I've had a problem with my microSD card for the past week where at random intervals, the switch says something along the lines of the MicroSD card was removed, despite never removing it. Does anyone know what the issue is and if I can fix it? (Btw its the same card I've been using since i got the switch)
@Andr0meda Based on what I've seen here, there have been rare cases where the card reader goes bad. Since switch launched, the main issues people run into aren't glitches. Issues people have had, they've been related to failed card readers, or failed wifi hardware. Typically, if can't solve/fix something by searching nintendo's support site & using their troubleshooting, that's been a good indicator of failed hardware.
gcunit reminds me, sometimes cards themselves go bad. I had a card go bad on me in my phone, it was a samsung 32gb or 64gb. It could do small jobs, like open a pic, but if you tried to do things with bigger video files, it would freeze & fail. Maybe this is irrelevant, but I thought I'd mention it.
Are you sure this is a legit Sandisk or Samsung not a off-brand card? Since no info is giving on the card and where you bought it at no one can tell exactly what to look for or what might be happening.
