Butterfly Garden
Butterfly Garden (WiiWare)
Butterfly Garden is a computer simulation by independent developer Autonomous Productions, revolving around the raising and collecting of butterflies. Initially for the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade, the developers decided to port the game to WiiWare also.
The game revolves around breeding different butterflies via genetic selection, and promises a robust online component, allowing users via their online service to visit other gardens and share rare genes.

This game looks like it could become either something special or something boring. Can't wait to see more of it in the near future.

I love games like this. I thought Endless Ocean was my big surprise for the year, but then comes along a game like this... Open ended, breeding-alife simulation, chillout game? FRSRS?!?!

I don't know if I'll be downloading this because I already have Endless Ocean, but I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't download it otherwise.
It looks really good.

I dunno... those visuals look pretty impressive. Aren't those Xbox 360 graphics? I mean, the clip is on an XBOX Community site...
Considering that it's even a WiiWare title, and with our storage problems, maybe we'll be gimped on the Wii. fudge.

Looks similar to Endless Ocean's gameplay with butterflies instead of divers.

I was thinking the same thing as Tony, seems kind of like a similar experience to Endless Ocean. But this one sounds like you would actually have to do something more. They mention predators in the interview, which may mean you actually have to protect the butterflies. It sounds interesting enough.

Sounds very very interesting and I'm definetly considering buying this one whenever it comes out! There's a game that really reminds me of this title, but I can't remember it...whatever.
Though I do agree with you Stevii's Father, I really hope we don't get ripped off or anything.
