Animales de la Muerte

Animales de la Muerte (WiiWare)

Seemingly similar to games such as Smash TV and Alien Syndrome, you will mostly stay in one location trying to stay alive as long as possible. The game takes place in a Mexican zoo where recently, animals have begun dying only to resurrect as zombies. The game has a cutesy graphics style but seems to actually be quite gruesome.

This looks absolutely hilarious. Somehow kinda reminds me of Smash TV! Actually, why don't Midway release that classic on VC. "Good luck, you'll need it!!!"

Finally, a game that adresses the threat of animal zombies! PETA is not going to like this.

Je je. An interesting game (especially for Mexicans like me). We will see some of mexican folklore. But... Based in a true story? xD

This will not be coming to europe. Our strict german laws and developers lazieness when it comes to programming extra-versions will mean we'l block it for the rest of EU again, please don't throw stones at us for that.

And even if gore WAS reduced: what would be the sense of slamming a cute chainsaw with pink hearts on it into a zombie-elephant's brain if the screen does not turn all red? Where would be the humor in that?!

@KhaoShar

Really? It wont be allowed in Europe? Man I knew my German cousins should've gotten an American Wii!

Looks fun actually, but I don't think I'll be letting my little brother play this one.

This looks like an interesting title! As far as I know, I think this is the first ‘M’ rated VC game, if not one of the only few ‘M’ rated games of all 3 next-gen consoles. I know it’s not officially rated yet, so I may be wrong.

The problem I see is that this game may cause controversy because…
1) You kill animals, so animal activists will probably complain, even if it the animals are undead.

2) Cartoony graphics. It’s better to be cartoon-like than real for this game, but it appeals more to kids. Kind of like how Conker for N64 was a problem with parents back then. Solution: turn Wii parental controls on, simple right?

3) Little kids with machine guns. I’m sure it will attract some group.

Violence in videogames doesn’t bother me so I’ll support and buy this game if it gets good reviews. I just hope Jack Thompson doesn’t make a big deal…most likely he will.

@natendo or anyone else who can answer:
Actually, how is Nintendo going to enforce the whole M rating thing? In addition to this, another Wiiware title whose name escapes me, Midway said they want to put Mortal Kombat on VC. As for Parental controls, my parents dont know of them (lol) but I'll be 18 when this comes out anyway. So what is Nintendo going to do? This wont be as funny as a T game.
